Smoking ceremonies are an ancient, sacred tradition conducted for thousands of years by Aboriginal peoples to cleanse people and spaces, ward off bad spirits, and promote well-being. Led by an Elder or cultural practitioner, it involves burning native plants to create thick, cleansing smoke. Smoking ceremonies can be done at any major gathering whether that is a school, corporate or cultural event.
